Crop Art - Literally!

Since 1993, farmers in Japan's Aomori prefecture have been creating crop art by mixing colored rice plants in with the regular stuff.





Each year, they create works of crop art by growing a little purple and yellow-leafed kodaimai rice along with their local green-leafed tsugaru-roman variety.
